My mate Kate.

An ode to the glory that fills this little canister. A product that I have been using on and off for about two and a half years is the Kate Somerville cult buy, DermalQuench Liquid Lift, and man does it do some heavy lifting!

This glorious treatment came about as a take home product for clients who were lucky enough to experience the signature DermalQuench Oxygen Treatment at the clinic, having experienced it myself at a Mecca Cosmetica in store event I can say that both the facial and the take home treatment are well worth the pennies. After just one week of using the liquid lift I had noticed that all the fine lines around my eyes had seriously reduced, and for me this is where I first see any damage after time in the sun or if my skin is dehydrated, so that was pretty major.

I think one of the best things about the DermalQuench is that it can be used as a serum if you’re in a hurry, or a pre-serum treatment, or even just as a stand alone treatment if you have a special occasion. I’ve used it on my husband and he is the absolute antithesis of a beauty habitué, and he loved the results! It has a fast penetrating Hyaluronic Acid and some Retinyl Palmitate which is where those juicy results come from, but I do think that you don’t need to use as much of it as the instructions imply. A little does go a long way, and don’t forget to graze the nozzle over the skin!

The important thing to always remember when using a penetrative hydration treatment is that you need to have exfoliated beforehand, doesn’t have to be immediately before, but none of the goodies will soak in if your skin is backed up with surface debris!! Promise me you will exfoliate!!
